Our National Polka Festival started in 1967 and is the largest Czech Festival of its kind, attracting 50,000 people to the city of Ennis during Memorial Day Weekend.
Since 1951 the Ennis Garden Club has laid out 42 miles of driving trails of bluebonnets, named “The Official Bluebonnet Trail of Texas” by the Texas State Legislature. Held during the month of April with a three day festival weekend including Arts and Crafts and Food Vendors, entertainment and children’s activities.
